Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the French Minister for Foreign Trade and co-chair of the commission on bilateral economic cooperation

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the French Minister for Foreign Trade and co-chair of the commission on bilateral economic cooperation, Nicole Bricq.

Emphasizing the successful development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and France, the head of state said that the results of cooperation are at a high level. President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of expanding the activities of French companies in Azerbaijan. Referring to the meeting of the commission on bilateral economic cooperation, the head of state expressed confidence that issues to be discussed at it will further expand economic ties between our countries.

Stressing that she is the first minister of the new French government visiting Azerbaijan, Nicole Bricq expressed her country's interest in the further expansion of activities of French companies in Azerbaijan, which has special significance from a strategic point of view.

The meeting noted that there is great potential for the further development of economic cooperation between the two countries, stressed the importance of identifying new areas of cooperation and exchanged views on matters relating to the prospects of relations.
