After the meeting in an expanded format, the ceremony of signing Azerbaijani-Malaysian documents was held.
“Joint Declaration on friendly relations and partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Malaysia” was signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
“Memorandum of Understanding between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and Petroliam Nasional Berhad company of Malaysia on cooperation in oil and gas sectors” was signed by President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Rovnag Abdullayev and President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Petroliam Nasional Berhad company Tan Sri Dato Shamsul Azhar Abbas.
“Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan (represented by ADA University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Government of Malaysia (represented by Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) on cooperation in the field of training of diplomats” was signed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev and Director General of Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato Hussin Nayan.
