Ilham Aliyev phoned President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev phoned President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 7.

The head of state said he was deeply saddened by the news of the killing and wounding of Turkish servicemen as a result of a terrorist act in Daglica, Hakkari province, and extended his deep condolences to the President of Turkey, families and loved ones of those who died.

Stressing that Azerbaijan strongly condemns the terrible terrorist attack, President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijani people are always right behind the friendly and brotherly people of Turkey.

President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked for the attention and condolences.

The heads of state exchanged views over various aspects of bilateral relations.
