I extend my congratulations to you on your re-election as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and my best wishes for every success in your activity for the benefit of Azerbaijan and its people.
In this regard, I look forward to further strengthening our bilateral relations and would like to reiterate France’s commitment to do its utmost to contribute to the efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
As I mentioned in my letter to you of February 21 this year, I consider it important to have an exchange of views about these issues and look forward to meeting you in Paris in the coming months.
