On behalf of the government of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I extend my cordial congratulations to you on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Your confident victory bears evidence of huge support and trust that your citizens place in your line aiming to ensure dynamic socio-economic development of Azerbaijan and increasing its influence on the international scene.

I would like to particularly underline the significant contribution you have made to the strengthening of Russian-Azerbaijani relations based on principles of friendship, good neighborliness and partnership. I am confident that further expansion of bilateral cooperation, and the implementation of joint projects in various fields fully meets the long-term interests of Russia and Azerbaijan.
