His Excellency Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On the occasion of the commemoration of the National Day of Azerbaijan, it is with great pleasure that I convey to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Portuguese people and on my own behalf, warm greetings and sincere wishes for your personal well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the Azeri people.

On this special day for Azerbaijan, I would like to reiterate my commitment to deepening the relations of friendship and cooperation between our countries, making full use of the potential that still remains at the political, cultural and economic levels to the benefit of both our peoples.
