Dear Mr President

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, we wish to convey our warmest message of congratulaticms to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Although the systemic links between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan go back to more than 100 years ago - to the peried of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the relations were further developed and solidified after Azerbaijan regained its independence in 1991. The relations between our two countries are built on the solid foundation of sincere friendship, mutual confidence, and trust. We are certain that we can look forward to even closer ties between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan in the coming years.

We remain hopeful that Azerbaijan will soon restore its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. Let us also express our solidarity with Azerbaijan in these difficult times with its fight against COVID-19.

Please accept, Your Excellency, our best wishes for your good health and continued success in all your endeavours, as well as for the everlasting prosperity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
