First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has published a post on her official Instagram page in connection with the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The post of the First Vice-President says:
“The Khojaly genocide is a crime against all mankind and humanity and will never be erased from our memory. This tragedy shocked our people, but did not break our will and resolve, and united us as a nation even more strongly. Thanks to this unshakable solidarity, we are achieving a triumph of truth and justice – global recognition of the Khojaly tragedy as an act of genocide against our people. I respectfully honor the bright memory of the innocent victims of the Khojaly genocide. May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs in peace.”
On March 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO).
