President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister for Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey Nihat Ergun.
Indicating that the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in various spheres were developing successfully, President Ilham Aliyev pointed to the good opportunities for cooperation in science, industry and technology. The President expressed his confidence that the visit by Minister for Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey Nihat Ergun to Azerbaijan would contribute to identifying opportunities for further cooperation in this field.
Minister for Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey Nihat Ergun conveyed greetings on behalf of President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan. Nihat Ergun said he was very pleased to visit Azerbaijan and meet with President Ilham Aliyev. The Turkish minister expressed hope that he would hold talks on expanding the fruitful cooperation between his ministry and relevant agencies of Azerbaijan.
The President thanked the minister for the greetings from President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked him to communicate his greetings to the President and the Prime Minister of Turkey.
