Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on providing one-time financial assistance to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the widows of the soldiers who were killed or died later, and the persons awarded with orders and medals for selfless labor in the rear

Governed by Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, I hereby resolve as follows:

1. To provide one-time financial assistance in the amount of 500.0 (five hundred) manats to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and in the amount of 200.0 (two hundred) manats to the widows of the soldiers who were killed or died later, the persons awarded with orders and medals for selfless labor in the rear, the workers of special units which were fulfilling orders in the interests of the army and fleet in the rear of fighting frontlines or in operating regions of fighting fleets during World War II, the persons awarded with a medal and a badge for the defense of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War and the participants of the Siege of Leningrad.

2. In order to execute Clause 1 of the present Order, I hereby resolve as follows:

2.1. to allocate 7.5 million (seven million five hundred thousand) manats from the Contingency Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan envisaged in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2012;
2.2. to task the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan with ensuring the transfer of the said amount into a special account of the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
2.3. to task the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan with ensuring the payment of one-time financial assistance to the persons listed in Clause 1 of the present Order.

3. To task the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan with resolving the issues arising from the present Order.
