Dear Serdar Gurbangulyyevich,

This year we celebrate a remarkable anniversary between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On this pleasant occasion, I would like to cordially congratulate you and convey my most sincere wishes to you and the fraternal people of Turkmenistan.

The relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan originate from the will of our peoples, who have historically lived in the condition of friendship. The facts that our ties, which are based on shared history, fraternity and mutual respect, have dynamically developed into a qualitatively new level over the past period and nowadays have a character of strategic partnership cause special satisfaction.

Mutual visits, regular contacts, documents signed in different areas and joint projects have played an important role in expanding our cooperation. The high level of our political relations is also accompanied with our efficient collaboration in economy, transport and logistics, energy, humanitarian and other areas. Our relations within the framework of international organizations also continue successfully.

I believe that there is a favorable condition for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in all areas, especially in the field of transport. I am confident that by taking these opportunities, through our joint efforts we will succeed in strengthening our traditional relations of friendship and further expanding the scope of our interaction.

Again, I would like to sincerely congratulate you and wish you the best of health and success in your endeavors and the fraternal people of Turkmenistan lasting peace and prosperity.
