From Tehran Rahimov, London, UK
Dear Mr. President!
I am writing this letter to express my deep gratitude to you. The return and release of Ramil Safarov is a holiday for every Azerbaijani. We always believe in you and in our state. My joy is boundless. This event may seem small to some, but in reality it is a victory for Azerbaijan. We are proud of you. Azerbaijan's foreign policy resembles an iceberg. That is, the visible part of it may be small, but the bulk of it remains invisible. The policies that have been patiently carried out over many years have yielded fruit and Ramil has been released. I shed tears today when I saw the slogan “Our goal is Karabakh!” on a news portal. I felt as though I was in Karabakh. I believe that this problem will soon be resolved fairly in favor of Azerbaijan.
Thanks to your care about the sport, the Azerbaijani flag is always held high. Quoting our nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, “I have always been proud and am proud today that I am an Azerbaijani”, I can say that the people of Azerbaijan are proud not only of their national identity but also of a president like you. I wish you continued success. God bless you, your family and our country! Our victory is yet to come. May the day come when our people celebrate this victory and our tricolor flag flies in Karabakh!
Sincerely,
Tehran Tabriz oglu Rahimov.
