The extradition of national army officer Ramil Safarov who spent eight years in detention in Hungary and his pardon have pleased me very much as a citizen. It is a measure of the Azerbaijani government’s care about the people. You have once again proved that the Azerbaijani government takes care about its citizens. You have successfully continued the political course founded by great leader Heydar Aliyev. Your determination on the issue of Ramil Safarov have strengthened the confidence of our people in you, the Commander-in-Chief and the National Army. This has inspired me a lot.
