Ilham Aliyev received the chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the House of Deputies of the National Congress of Mexico

President Ilham Aliyev has received the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Deputies of the National Congress of Mexico, Porfirio Muñoz Ledo.

The head of state expressed his satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico.

Noting that cooperation between the two countries was developing rapidly in recent years, President Ilham Aliyev said the two countries actively cooperated in international organizations. The President pointed to good opportunities for a further expansion of economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico. Noting the importance of the visit by Porfirio Muñoz Ledo to Azerbaijan, President Aliyev stressed the significance of inter-parliamentary relations for the development of bilateral relations.

Remembering that he had met President Aliyev in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the House of Deputies of the National Congress of the United Mexican States, Porfirio Muñoz Ledo, expressed his satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan. He said he was very impressed with the extensive development of our country.
