Ilham Aliyev received the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali

President Ilham Aliyev received the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.

The sides said they were pleased with the development of 20-years relations between Azerbaijan and the World Bank. They also stressed the big potential of the cooperation with the country, the interest of the World Bank in the further strengthening of this cooperation and the importance of great economic success achieved in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting the sides exchanged their views on creating the infrastructure, ensuring supply of renewable energy and drinking water, creating water reserves and irrigation systems, using the Caspian water for irrigation, creating high technologies based agricultural businesses, supporting local entrepreneurship, diversifying economy, the continuation of reforms in particular areas, as well as the expansion of other directions for cooperation prioritized for Azerbaijan.
