The Baku Declaration of the 12th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization was adopted

The Baku Declaration of the 12th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has been adopted.

After the adoption of the document, a ceremony to resent ECO awards was held. ECO awards for research in various fields were presented to 24 representatives from eight countries. From Azerbaijan, the award was presented to Academician Asaf Nadirov for achievements in the economic sphere.

The decision was made to hold the next summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the summit, President Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan would contribute to the development of the organization during its presidency in the ECO.

This brought the 12th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization to a close.
