Your Excellency,
I am greatly saddened by the unfortunate and shocking news of the plane crash on Wednesday 25th December 2024 killing 38 people following an emergency landing near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
On behalf of the Government and people of Sierra Leone, and on my personal behalf, I extend heartfelt condolences to you and through you, to the Government and people of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as to the bereaved families.
I join your Excellency, in mourning the irreparable loss of lives of your compatriots, and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.
Please accept, your Excellency my profound condolences once more, as well as the assurances of my highest consideration.
