Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Defense Minister of Croatia

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Defense Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Ante Kotromanovic.
The President of Azerbaijan said that the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia was reassuring. Recalled with satisfaction the official visit of the President of Croatia to Azerbaijan and his own official visit to Croatia, President Ilham Aliyev said there were great opportunities for the further development of cooperation in various areas, including the economic and defense sectors. The President expressed his confidence that the visit of the Minister of Defense of Croatia, Ante Kotromanovic, to Azerbaijan would be successful.

Defense Minister Ante Kotromanovic conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic to President Ilham Aliyev. Noting that our people have a similar history and our countries are linked by ties of close friendship, the minister said that bilateral relations were developing in a positive direction.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Ivo Josipovic and asked the minister to convey his greetings to the head of the Croatian state.
