Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Forestry and Water of Turkey

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Minister of Forestry and Water of Turkey, Veysel Eroglu.

Minister Veysel Eroglu conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan. Stressing that Turkey, as always, was close to Azerbaijan, Veysel Eroglu noted the importance of a further expansion of relations between the two countries. The Turkish minister said that he had witnessed extensive development in Azerbaijan and congratulated the head of state on the great successes achieved.

The President stressed that bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were developing successfully in all directions. President Aliyev noted that the relationship between individual ministries of the two countries, including the entities dealing with environmental matters, were also at a good level. Indicating that the environment is an important area, the President said that Azerbaijan had also done a lot to address environmental issues in recent years. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the visit of Minister Veysel Eroglu to Azerbaijan in terms of the enhancement of cooperation and exchange of experience in this field.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and asked the minister to communicate his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.
