Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of Spain

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of Spain, Don Pedro de Morenés y Álvarez de Eulate.

Stressing that political relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Spain are at a good level, President Ilham Aliyev said that there was great potential for cooperation in the fields of economy, mutual investment and other areas. The President noted the importance of reciprocal visits of various levels for the expansion of bilateral relations and pointed to the frequency of such visits. The President expressed his hope that the visit by Minister of Defense of Spain, Don Pedro de Morenés y Álvarez de Eulate, to Azerbaijan would promote military cooperation.

The Minister of Defense of Spain, Don Pedro de Morenés y Álvarez de Eulate, said that he was profoundly impressed by the extensive development in the capital of Azerbaijan. The Spanish minister said that his visit to Azerbaijan provided a good opportunity for discussing the prospects for effective bilateral relations, including cooperation in the military sphere.
