Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Zalmai Rassoul.

Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations in various fields, highlighted the importance of Azerbaijan's participation in various international humanitarian processes relating to Afghanistan and expressed their confidence that the cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas, including the areas of education, health and in other areas, would be continued.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Hamid Karzai and asked the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to the Afghan President.
