Ilham Aliyev received the chairman of the Committee on International Relations of the State Duma of the Russian Federation

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the chairman of the Committee on International Relations of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the head of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Aleksey Pushkov.

During the meeting the sides indicated that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing successfully in various fields and noted the contribution of inter-parliamentary contacts to the further strengthening of relations. The sides also pointed to the active cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, including the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and highlighted the mutual support within this organization.
