Ilham Aliyev received the British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defense responsible for International Security Strategy

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defense responsible for International Security Strategy, Andrew Murrison.

The sides noted the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain, expressed their satisfaction with the development of cooperation in various areas, including economic, energy and other sectors, and stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries within the UN framework.

The parties also appreciated the successful activity of Azerbaijani servicemen in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan and our country's contribution to the International Security Assistance Force, and expressed their confidence that this cooperation would be continued in the future.
