Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Josip Leko.

During the meeting the sides noted that bilateral relations between the two countries were developing successfully and expressed their satisfaction with the accession of Croatia to the European Union. The parties voiced their confidence that the two countries would continue to actively cooperate both bilaterally and within the framework of the relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. The sides also expressed their confidence that the visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Josip Leko, to Azerbaijan would serve to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in various areas, including the area of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
