President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Alyiev met with President of the EU Herman Van Rompey in Astana.
The sides noted the ongoing successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU during the meeting. Issues related to regulation of the Armenia-Azerbajian, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and energy cooperation were discussed.
During the meeting, the parties also expressed confidence in further expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
