President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg in Astana.
They praised the development of relationship between Azerbaijan and the UK, while underlining the importance of energy cooperation between the two countries. It was noted that good prospects exist for its expansion.
The sides also exchanged views on how to deepen bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK in other spheres.
At the meeting, where regulation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was being discussed, President Ilham Aliyev spoke of Azerbaijan`s position on the conflict resolution.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
