Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Lithuanian Minister of Interior Raimundas Palaitis

President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Lithuanian Minister of Interior Raimundas Palaitis.

Having noted that bilateral relations had been developing successfully between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, President Ilham Aliyev mentioned the necessity of expanding these relations in every direction. The President also talked about the necessity of establishing good ties between the relevant bodies of the two states in various fields and said he hoped the visit of Minister of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania Raimunda Palaitis’s visit to Azerbaijan would be successful and seminal in this sense.

Minister of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania Raimundas Palaitis noted that Azerbaijan is a successfully developing country and added that he was pleased to visit Azerbaijan for the first time. Raimundas Palaitis emphasized the fact that despite the financial crisis engulfing every part of the world, economic growth had been observed in Azerbaijan. Raimundas Palaitis said his country was interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in various fields.
