On behalf of the people of Afghanistan and on my own behalf, I am honored to extend to you and the people of fraternal Azerbaijan my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of your country’s national holiday - Republic Day.
The people of Afghanistan are very happy with the development of relations between our countries in recent years. I am very pleased with my visit to Azerbaijan last December and our exchange of views on relations and economic cooperation between our countries, including realization of the Lapis Lazuli Corridor project. Such collaboration is of great benefit to our brotherly nations.
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan wishes to expand its partnership and friendly relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan. I wish you robust health and success, and the friendly people of Azerbaijan prosperity.
