I congratulate you and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of your country's national holiday - Independence Day.
Azerbaijan has covered a great path of development over the past 25 years, and made grandiose achievements in economic, social and cultural fields.
Dagestan and Azerbaijan are bound together by ties of centuries-long friendship and good neighborliness. We highly appreciate the Azerbaijani government's efforts to successfully develop partnership ties and implement mutually beneficial projects with Dagestan, and consider it as a sign of special respect for Dagestan.
I am sure that through our joint efforts we will be able to realize the current potential in order to discover new opportunities for further development and strengthening of bilateral relations as part of Russia-Azerbaijan cooperation.
