I sincerely congratulate you on your remarkable birthday anniversary. You are known as an outstanding statesman in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Under your leadership, Azerbaijan has made great strides in economic, cultural and social spheres, and considerably strengthened its positions in the international arena.
We highly appreciate your great personal contribution to strengthening friendship between the peoples of Russia and Azerbaijan and developing intergovernmental relations as well as cooperation between the parliaments, which is an integral part of the relationship between the two countries.
I am sure that thanks to your active help, Russian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary relations will continue to be one of the crucial factors in ensuring regional and international security and sustainable development, and in raising the quality of life of citizens.
Dear Ilham Heydarovich, I wish you good health and further success in your endeavors for happiness of the people of Azerbaijan.
