President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the special envoy of the United States Secretary of State for Eurasian Energy, Richard Morningstar.
It was stressed during the meeting that the relations between Azerbaijan and the USA are successfully developing in various spheres, including energy. The sides expressed confidence over a further expansion of relations.
The sides also touched upon the significance of the 18th international exhibition and conference “Caspian oil and gas: refining and petrochemicals” and pointed to the importance of this annual event, traditionally held in Baku at a high level, from the standpoint of expansion of international cooperation in the sphere of energy.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
