President Ilham Aliyev has received Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev.
During the meeting the sides stressed the successful development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in different spheres, as well as the cooperation between internal affairs bodies, pointed to the importance of regional stability and noted that the strengthening of relations between our countries was contributing to this cause. The sides also expressed confidence that the visit by Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev to Azerbaijan would contribute to a further development of bilateral relations and expansion of cooperation between relevant institutions of the two countries.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
