Ilham Aliyev received outgoing Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Abdul Hamid

President Ilham Aliyev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Abdul Hamid, upon completion of his diplomatic tenure in the country.

Ambassador Abdul Hamid noted that, during his diplomatic tenure in the country, he had witnessed great reverence and respect of the people of Azerbaijan towards Pakistan. The Pakistanian diplomat expressed his gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan and to President Ilham Aliyev, personally, for creating great conditions for his activities as an Ambassador.

Having noted the successful development of bilateral relations between the two states, President Ilham Aliyev characterized these relations as ties between allied states and expressed confidence in further development of these ties. Having highly appreciated the services rendered by Ambassador Abdul Hamid to development of bilateral relations, the President wished him success in his future activities.
