President Ilham Aliyev received outoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan, Carolyn Browne, upon completion of her diplomatic tenure in the country.
The President highlighted the successful development of bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and the Great Britain during the diplomatic tenure of Carolyn Browne in the country. Having expressed his gratitude to the diplomat for her contributions rendered to the development of ties between the two states, President Ilham Aliyev wished her success in her future work.
Ambassador Carolyn Browne expressed her satisfaction with her diplomatic work in Azerbaijan. She expressed her gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan and to President Ilham Aliyev, personally, for creating great conditions for her activities in the country. Ambassador Carolyn Browne said she hoped the ties between the two states would continue to develop.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
