Ilham Aliyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Azerbaijan, Nicolae Ureche.

The head of state gave a high assessment to Ambassador Nicolae Ureche’s contribution to the establishment of effective partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania. Indicating that mutual visits of presidents of the two countries have become frequent during the Ambassador’s diplomatic tenure in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev said Nicolae Ureche was being decorated with the Dostlug Order for a special contribution to the strengthening of cooperation and mutual ties between Azerbaijan and Romania, and handed the high award to the diplomat.

Nicolae Ureche said it was a great honor for him to receive the high award of the Azerbaijani state – the Dostlug Order. After expressing confidence that Romanian-Azerbaijani relations would continue to expand, the diplomat thanked the President for the high state award.
