Dear Mr President,
I extend my congratulations to you and the people of Azerbaijan as you celebrate an important anniversary – the Centennial of Republic Day. I sincerely wish your country continued success, prosperity and peace.
This year, the people of Lithuania and Azerbaijan mark important state anniversaries, together celebrating a complex path towards establishing independence. I strongly hope that the goal shared by our countries to build strong and prosperous states and open societies remains a strong impetus to continue expanding the dialogue between Lithuania and Azerbaijan at the bilateral level and within the context of relations with European Union. I firmly believe that further strengthening of open cooperation based on mutual understanding in many areas, including trade, energy, innovations, education and culture will open new opportunities for meaningful joint activities among our citizens.
Mr President, may I again offer congratulations on your national day and wish a happy celebration to all people of Azerbaijan.
