His Excellency Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On the occasion of the 100th National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of Vietnamese government and people, I would like to present to you and through you to Azerbaijani people my warmest congratulations.

Vietnam has always been watching and we are happy for the grand achievements gained by Azerbaijani people under the leadership of His Excellency Mr President in the process of building and developing the country, enhancing Azerbaijan’s role and position regionally and globally.

Vietnam and Azerbaijan have traditional friendship relations, established and nurtured by both countries’ generations of leaders and people. Vietnam always appreciates and wishes to strengthen these fruitful relations for the interest of both nations.

I highly appreciate the result of the cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan in numerous spheres, which meets the practical interest of both nations. I firmly believe that, with strong political will of the countries’ leaders and people, friendship relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan would be deepened effectively, contributing significantly to the development of both countries, for peace, stability and prosperity of the region and the world.

I wish Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani people more and more prosperity and happiness.
