President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the head of the Italy-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Senator Rossana Boldi.
The President said that bilateral relations between our countries are developing successfully and there are good results in all areas. Recalling with satisfaction his visits to Italy, President Ilham Aliyev indicated that political relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are at a high level. Stressing that Italy is Azerbaijan’s biggest trading partner economically, the President said Italian companies are successfully operating in our country. Noting that the inter-parliamentary relations have a good history, President Aliyev stressed the importance of the visit by the head of the Italy-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Senator Rossana Boldi, from the standpoint of further expansion of these relations.
The head of the Italy-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Senator Rossana Boldi, said she was pleased that the visit of the delegation she is leading to Azerbaijan starts with a meeting with the President. Rossana Boldi congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan’s state independence. She stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary ties for the expansion of bilateral relations.

Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
