President Ilham Aliyev has received the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, Kunio Mikuriya, and the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Yuri Fedotov.
The head of the UN Vienna Office and the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Yuri Fedotov, pointed to the importance of the international conference “Fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic substances” under way in Baku. He also stressed the significance of the fact that the conference is being attended by heads of authoritative agencies from 42 countries around the world.
President Ilham Aliyev described the participation of representatives from different countries in the international conference “Fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic substances” as an indication of interest in it. The head of state pointed to the importance of applying collective effort towards stepping up the fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic substances.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
