President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Turkish justice minister, Sadullah Ergin.
Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin conveyed greetings on behalf of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan. He expressed his satisfaction with the fact that he is paying his first official visit as minister to Azerbaijan. Pointing to a high level of cooperation between judicial authorities of both countries, Sadullah Ergin expressed hope for a further expansion of ties.
President Aliyev stressed that relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are developing successfully in all directions, including the sphere of justice. Noting that Sadullah Ergin is paying his first official visit as justice minister to the brotherly country, the President said it has become a wonderful tradition between our two countries. Recalling the recent meeting of the Council on high-level strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in Izmir, President Aliyev said it is important to a further expansion of bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked the minister to communicate his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of the brotherly country.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
