President Ilham Aliyev has received the chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Russian Federation, Sergey Stepashin.
The chairman of the Russian Chamber of Accounts, Sergey Stepashin, congratulated the head of state on the 20th anniversary of the state independence of Azerbaijan. He recalled with great satisfaction his meetings with nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. Sergey Stepashin said that cooperation between the Russian and Azerbaijani Chambers of Accounts has good prospects.
President Ilham Aliyev said that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are developing successfully in various fields. The President expressed confidence that the visit by the chairman of the Russian Chamber of Accounts to Azerbaijan would serve a further enhancement of cooperation between the relevant agencies of both countries.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
