President Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Argentine Republic, Lino Baranao.
The President stressed that Azerbaijan and Argentina has developed active cooperation. Noting that Azerbaijan’s first Embassy in Latin America was opened in the Argentine Republic, President Aliyev said the two countries should take advantage of each other’s opportunities for the development of regional cooperation. Stressing that Lino Baranao is the first Argentine minister to visit Azerbaijan, the President pointed to the importance of reciprocal visits for the expansion of ties.
Minister Lino Baranao said it was his first visit to Azerbaijan and that he has witnessed great economic development in our country. Stressing that Azerbaijan is strategically located, the Argentine minister said his country attaches great importance to partnership with Azerbaijan.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
