President Ilham Aliyev has received the European Transport Commissioner, Siim Kallas.
Siim Kallas congratulated the President on Azerbaijan’s election to the UN Security Council.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union and pointed to the good opportunities for a further expansion of ties in various fields. The parties also exchanged views on transport cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, including cooperation within the TRACECA program.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
