President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of Croatia to Azerbaijan, Mr. Drazen Hrastic.

Drazen Hrastic presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.
The President stressed that bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Croatia were developing successfully. President Aliyev pointed to the importance of mutual high-level visits to the expansion of ties between the two countries. The President said Azerbaijan was interested in developing bilateral ties in all areas. President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of mutual investment to the expansion of economic cooperation and expressed hope that bilateral relations would become even broader in the future.
Indicating that Azerbaijan is a friendly and important country for Croatia, Drazen Hrastic said he was pleased to start work as Ambassador to Azerbaijan. The diplomat conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic to the President of Azerbaijan. Drazen Hrastic assured the President that he would spare no effort to further expand relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia during his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the President of Croatia.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
