President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who has paid a working visit to the Russian Federation, has met with President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev in Moscow.
During the meeting, the President of Azerbaijan congratulated Almazbek Atambayev on his election as President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and wished him every success.
Noting that relations between the two countries have good prospects, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the two countries would always support each other.
Recalling the work carried out by the nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, Almazbek Atambaev said President Ilham Aliyev was a worthy successor to the great leader. He added that Azerbaijan and Baku had undergone great changes over the past 20 years.
Touching upon the opportunities for expanding economic cooperation and cultural ties, President Aliyev said the relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan were on an upward trend.
The President invited his Kyrgyz counterpart to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. The invitation was accepted with appreciation.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
