President Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Tourism of Argentine, Carlos Enrique Meyer.
The President expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina in recent years. President Aliyev stressed the importance of the establishment of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Argentina for a further expansion of cooperation between the two countries. Stressing the importance of mutual visits for the strengthening of ties between the two countries, the President voiced his confidence that the visit by Argentine Minister of Tourism Carlos Enrique Meyer to Azerbaijan would contribute to the strengthening of relations.
The Minister of Tourism of Argentina, Carlos Enrique Meyer, said his country was interested in expanding relations with Azerbaijan. Emphasizing the importance of experience exchange for the development of cooperation, the minister pointed to the significance of a visit by representatives of Azerbaijan’s tourism sector to Argentina to be organized by his ministry. He said his country's tourism companies were interested in participating in the tourism exhibition held in Azerbaijan annually.
The sides noted the importance of the forthcoming Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Argentina due in 2013 for the strengthening of bilateral relations.
