President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Portuguese Foreign Minister, Luis Amado.
Expressing confidence in conduct of fruitful discussions regarding bilateral relations during the visit of Portuguese Foreign Minister, the President noted the importance of this visit for future development of Azerbaijani-Portuguese relations. President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that Louis Amado’s visit would also contribute to expanding of the Azerbaijani-EU cooperation.
Luis Amado conveyed the greetings of Portuguese President and Prime Minister to the President. The guest noted that Portugal could be a good partner for Azerbaijan both in the context of bilateral relations and cooperation with the European Union.
The President expressed gratitude for the greetings of Portuguese President and Prime Minister and asked the guest to deliver his greetings to them as well.
