President Ilham Aliyev has met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Necas in Prague.
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic met the President of Azerbaijan.
Then President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Petr Necas had their picture taken and enjoyed panoramic views of Prague together.
The President of Azerbaijan signed the book of honorable guests of the Czech Prime Minister.
The sides noted during the meeting that the current visit was important from the standpoint of development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. It was stressed that the meetings the President of Azerbaijan had held within the framework of the state visit to the Czech Republic would contribute to the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries to a strategic level.
The parties also pointed to the need for developing economic relations between the two countries and to a good potential for expanding cooperation in this field.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
