Ilham Aliyev received the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs

President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryshchenko.

Kostyantyn Gryshchenko conveyed Ukrainian President’s greetings to the Azerbaijani President. He recalled a recent meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine with content. Gryshchenko said the Ukrainian President attaches great importance to development of ties with Azerbaijan and everything related to bilateral relations and always instructs to keep these issues under attention.

The President said he attached great importance to Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations as well. President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in successful development of relations between the two states in future. President Ilham Aliyev said that positive results the two countries had reached in their bilateral relations created good basis for future development. President Ilham Aliyev pointed out that huge potential exists for boosting the relations in all fields, including economy, industry and energy. Noting the necessity of effective and dynamic relations in the current state, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of Ukrainian Foreign Minister’s visit to Azerbaijan in this context.

The President expressed his gratitude for the greetings of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich and asked to convey his greetings to the Ukrainian President as well.
