Dear Mr. President,

The multinational team of grammar school No 160 in the Sabayil district of Baku fully supports your decision to pardon national army officer Ramil Safarov. You have thus proved again that you are the President of every citizen of Azerbaijan.

Mr. President, we urge you to use all the resources of the independent Azerbaijan to bring to the attention of the world community the essence of Armenia’s hysterical attitude to this fact, the truth about what happened and the motives of Ramil Safarov’s actions.

Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, who killed 77 innocent young people on the grounds of religious bigotry, was sentenced to only 21 years of imprisonment, and the international community did not react to that in any way. Officer Ramil Safarov, whose family was ousted from native lands by Armenian fascists and who was repeatedly subjected to insults from the Armenian officers, was sentenced to life in prison for defending the honor of his country and the national flag.

We see the hysteria surrounding the extradition of Ramil Safarov home after eight years of imprisonment and his pardoning, as well as the attitude of the international community to the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as a manifestation of double standards.

We will always support you, Mr. President, in the protection of the interests of Azerbaijan and its citizens.
